FAQ

  • We open at 2pm every single day! We close at 3am Sunday to Thursday and 3:30am on Fridays and Saturdays, but make sure you check out our last entry times below so you don’t miss out.

  • Last entry is 1:30am on Friday and Saturday. On weekdays, it may be extended up to 2:30am at the venue’s discretion. (But we recommend getting here earlier to make the most of our drinks deals.)

  • No dress code baby, you’re absolutely rocking those trackies and don’t let anyone tell you any different. Meanwhile some of our customers rock the most eclectic fashions so, whatever you’re in the mood to wear, you’ll fit right in.

  • Yes. You will require an ID to enter the venue after 9pm any night of the week regardless of your age.

  • Unfortunately, we can only accept a physical, legal ID at the door as it has to get through our scanner. It’s as much of a headache for us as it is for you, but those are the rules we’re given.

  • Please contact us at +44(0)118 9597 196 and call through to the main bar. We are most likely to pick up between 2pm and 10pm as it’ll be a member of the bar staff receiving your call. They will be happy to check the lost property for you and you can pop in during opening hours to pick it up.

  • There is shisha available in our garden from 8pm everyday but Sunday.

  • If you’d like to book a space over the christmas period please email party@purpleturtlebar.com!

  • We do not have a cloakroom and cannot guarantee the safety of any personal property left unattended.

  • Again, we cannot take responsibility for any personal property and cannot charge your phone behind the bar. If you have a charger with you, we have plug sockets and USB ports available with seating.
